Job Description
As a Team Lead in our Web Development department, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of high-quality web applications. Your expertise in PHP and Node.js, combined with your leadership skills, will drive the success of our projects. You will be responsible for managing a team of talented developers, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of web developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Oversee the development of web applications from concept to deployment, ensuring best practices and quality standards are met
- Architect scalable and maintainable web solutions using PHP and Node.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, and QA, to define project scopes and timelines
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring coding standards and best practices are adhered to
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, staying abreast of industry trends and introducing new technologies and processes to the team
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within agile frameworks
Must have skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in web development, with a strong background in PHP and Node.js
- Proven leadership experience in managing development teams
- Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Experience with database design and management using SQL and NoSQL databases
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Certifications in PHP, Node.js, or related technologies.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
