We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr. PL/SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. As a PL/SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database solutions using PL/SQL. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to deliver change requests, optimize database performance, and troubleshoot complex issues.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver change requests with all stages of SDLC: analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Design and develop database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using PL/SQL.
- Develop and maintain database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Tune SQL queries to improve response time and implement indexing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies, to improve system stability and reduce downtime.
- Write shell scripts to automate tasks and streamline processes.
- Experience in working with Oracle 12C DB, WebLogic 12C environment.
Requirements:
- 5-6 years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL programming and Oracle database development.
- Strong understanding of database performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
- Experience with shell scripting and automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
- Experience with WebLogic administration and configuration.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
