We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in and Docker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our container-based infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines. This role requires strong technical skills, including proficiency with cloud technologies, scripting languages, and configuration management tools
Role and Responsibilities:
- Deploy updates and fixes efficiently to ensure continuous stability and uptime of production environments.
- Provide Level 2 technical support, assisting with more complex issues not resolved at the first level.
- Build and develop tools to minimize the occurrence of errors and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Develop and maintain software to seamlessly integrate with internal back-end systems, ensuring smooth operations across various departments.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production errors and develop strategies to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Develop scripts to automate the process of data visualization, enhancing the accessibility and interpretation of complex datasets.
- Design and document procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance to guide the team in maintaining a reliable operational environment.
Must Have Skills:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows, demonstrating a solid understanding of version control best practices.
- Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable deployment processes.
- Working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and AWS Linux environments.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL, capable of managing, querying, and maintaining relational databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards finding and implementing solutions.
- Strong collaborative spirit, able to work effectively within a team to achieve shared goals and continuously improve processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- The candidate should have 5 years of experience in specific technologies
- B.Sc. Engineering in Computer Science but can be considered for extraordinary candidates
- Enjoy working on challenging solutions and systems
