We are looking for a detail-oriented and linguistically proficient individual to join our Translation Services / Linguistic Excellence Team as an Intern or Junior Executive (QC Admin & Translator). The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring document quality, linguistic accuracy, and translation compliance with professional and embassy standards.

Strong Italian language proficiency is mandatory for this position.


Role & Responsibilities

1. Quality Control (QC)

  • Review and verify user-submitted documents for clarity, completeness, and adherence to predefined guidelines.

  • Approve or reject submissions based on established quality standards.

  • Provide constructive feedback on declined documents to improve accuracy and compliance.

  • Manage and monitor document workflow using the Admin Dashboard to ensure timely processing.

2. Translation

  • Compare system-generated translations with the original documents to ensure accuracy, tone, and contextual consistency.

  • Perform manual translations from English to Italian, maintaining linguistic and legal integrity.

  • Follow embassy-approved linguistic and formatting standards for all professional translations.

3. Administrative Support

  • Track and organize QC and translation tasks using the dashboard.

  • Prepare periodic reports on task status, quality scores, and feedback metrics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve translation or document-related queries.


Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or currently pursuing).

  • Certification or formal training in Italian language is mandatory.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Italian and English (both written and spoken).

  • Excellent proofreading, grammar, and editing skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under deadlines.

  • Familiarity with translation tools, dashboards, or file management systems is an advantage.

  • Good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple assignments.

  • Effective communication and feedback-sharing skills with a professional tone.
