Job Context

MIAKI is a multi-country provider of Tech, Digital, and Managed Services, delivering scalable and value-driven solutions to local and international clients. As part of our CyberIQ Managed Services, we are building a new Cyber Security department focused on cyber risk intelligence, continuous monitoring, and managed security services.

We are looking for a motivated Cyber Analyst to join this function at an early stage. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in cyber security and technology who are eager to be trained, grow professionally, and help shape how CyberIQ’s security operations and product capabilities evolve from the ground up.

The role offers structured training, mentoring, and hands-on exposure to real-world cyber risk scenarios, while supporting day-to-day cyber risk managed services for our clients.


Key Responsibilities

Cyber Risk & Managed Services Support

  • Support the delivery of CyberIQ managed cyber risk intelligence services, including platforms, tools, and data sources.

  • Assist in analysing client cyber security data to identify exposures, vulnerabilities, and emerging risk trends.

  • Support monitoring of security signals, alerts, and external threat intelligence relevant to client environments.

Client Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare and deliver cyber risk intelligence reports for clients.

  • Liaise directly with clients to walk them through insights, risks, and recommendations.

  • Translate technical cyber findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and internal teams.

Security Operations & Analysis

  • Assist with vulnerability scanning, asset discovery, and exposure analysis.

  • Contribute to testing, validating, and improving cyber risk models and scoring methodologies.

  • Support the development of dashboards, reports, and other client-facing outputs.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with senior cyber analysts and internal teams to improve the quality, accuracy, and usability of CyberIQ outputs.

  • Contribute to product documentation and operational best practices.


Training & Development

This role is heavily training-focused and includes:

  • Structured onboarding into cyber security fundamentals and CyberIQ managed services.

  • Hands-on training using real client cyber risk data, tools, and intelligence platforms.

  • Mentoring from experienced cyber security and risk professionals.

  • Exposure to cyber risk intelligence, continuous monitoring, and managed service delivery.

  • Career development toward a specialised Cyber Risk Analyst / Managed Security Services role.


Required Skills & Attributes

  • Strong interest in cyber security, technology, and cyber risk intelligence services.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret technical data and trends.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn complex cyber security concepts.

  • Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and reports.

  • Ability to communicate cyber security concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and clients.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and structured thinking.


Education & Experience

  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or a related field.


Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms or security tooling.

  • Basic understanding of cloud environments and internet-facing systems.

  • Exposure to data analysis, scoring models, or analytics.

  • Entry-level certifications or self-study in cyber security.
