Job Context:

Miaki is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CMS (Campaign Management System) Application Engineer to join our fast-paced, tech-driven team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the flawless delivery of campaigns, maintaining operational platform stability, and managing backend tools and data processes associated with telecom campaign operations. The Campaign Management System (CMS) is responsible for executing customer lifecycle campaigns, personalized offers, and segment-based communication through automated workflows and triggers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on telecom experience, and a proactive approach to optimizing campaign performance through seamless execution and automation.


Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution & Support:

  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of campaigns across the CMS platform.

  • Assist the business team in launching new campaigns, creating customer segmentations, and defining offer logics.

  • Manage the implementation of customer lifecycle triggers, segment refresh routines, and customer journey workflows.

Platform & System Management:

  • Monitor the performance and stability of CMS platforms and integrated tools.

  • Coordinate with IT teams and external vendors for issue resolution, upgrades, and new feature deployments.

  • Administer user access, automation scripts, and system logs.

  • Address and resolve information security observations within the CMS infrastructure.

Data Handling & Reporting:

  • Process and validate daily customer profiles, behavioral triggers, and usage data received from DWH, CRM, or Kafka systems.

  • Perform health checks, sanity validations, and Level 2 investigations regularly.

  • Support scheduled maintenance activities and ensure successful ETL executions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work with CMS Planning and Analytics teams to convert business rules into technical workflows.

  • Collaborate with BI, IT, and Customer Care teams for platform issue resolution.

  • Support internal and external audit requirements concerning campaign logs and communication data.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in telecom, CMS operations, or campaign automation platforms.

  • In-depth understanding of campaign execution, customer segmentation, ETL processes, and trigger handling.

  • Proficient in SQL, Linux environments, and shell scripting.

  • Experience with platforms such as Pelatro, Unica, or Adobe Campaign is a strong advantage.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and coordination skills.


Good to Have:

  • Exposure to CMS data pipelines using DWH/CRM/Kafka.

  • Familiarity with automation and job scheduling tools.

  • Willingness to support late-night maintenance or deployment windows.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical background in telecom CMS/CVM environments.

  • Cross-functional collaboration experience with IT, BI, and Customer Care units.
